The first widely distributed model was The Vest® Model 103, a 65 pound air pulse unit that was not very portable
In 2003, Hill-Rom acquired ARI and soon after introduced the The Vest® Model 104, a much lighter and truly portable device that revolutionized airway clearance methods.
Later, a revised and updated model, The Vest® Model 105 was developed that utilized very similar technology but greatly enhanced treatment features such as the ‘ramp-up’ feature.
